There was uproar on social media after a few journalists from the tamil media claimed they had spent around 25,000 for each ticket to the recent AR rahman performance but hadn't received the hospitality they were promised. Many individuals joined the chorus to mock AR Rahman, saying that his performances are often difficult for those who pay large fees for tickets since they aren't treated well, especially after they enter the theatre.
Naturally, if a discussion begins in one way, it will undoubtedly conclude in another, as demonstrated by the several ways in which the renowned composer was ridiculed, including for the concert's subpar sound and other issues. Khatija, Rahman's daughter, has fiercely denounced the manner her father is being cruelly tormented, though. She urged her critics to "Think before you speak" by sharing a photograph that highlighted Rahman's compassion and how he frequently organises charity events whenever the state (or nation) is facing a crisis. According to the discovery, it appears that Khatija was upset to learn that her father was being ridiculed for being a con artist.

Netizens, on the other hand, do not accept even Khatija's allegations, claiming that rahman never gave from his own pocket because all of these events sold tickets, and only the proceeds from those sales were contributed. The argument is that those tickets were sold because AR rahman is playing; otherwise, the proceeds from those sales wouldn't have gone to those in need.
