Music director turned actor Vijay Antony’s daughter, meera, died by suicide at their residence yesterday on september 19. While the entire film fraternity and fans have been mourning the demise of the young girl, who was studying 12th standard at a private school in Chennai, she has been cremated at a cemetery in Chennai's Kilpauk.
After conducting a post mortem, her body was sent to her Alwarpet home for homage, where friends and family paid their last respects and offer their condolence to Vijay Antony's family. Today, her body was taken to a church in Nungambakkam for last rituals, after which she was cremated at a cemetery in Chennai's Kilpauk.
Vijay Antony and his wife Fathima had two daughters, meera and Lara, of which the elder daughter, meera died by suicide. The unfortunate incident has come as a shock to everyone known to the family and also to the entire film fraternity. Condolence messages have been pouring in from both the fans and celebrities from the film industry. Vijay Antony's elder daughter meera died by suicide on Tuesday, and the police has now recovered a suicide note from the premises.
As per the reports, Meera’s final note was composed in English, and it reads, "I love you all, miss you all, I will miss my friends and teachers. My family will suffer without me." The police have indicated that the letter contained profoundly emotional words.
