Mahalakshmi's spouse and renowned producer Ravinder Chandrasekaran made news due to a case of infidelity. The producer was reportedly detained by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) for allegedly defrauding a businessman of Rs. 15.83 crore. Since Ravinder is the owner of the renowned production company Libra Productions, this arrest has drawn attention.

According to sources, Ravinder deceived balaji ford, the victim in this case of fraud, by fabricating paperwork that purportedly showed a company's profitability. According to reports, he persuaded balaji to invest in a project to produce power from solid trash by describing it as a very lucrative prospect. In order to bring him on as a partner, he also persuaded him to boost his stakes. On september 17, 2022, Ravinder and balaji reached a mutual agreement for a staggering sum of 15 crores. According to the allegations, Ravinder allegedly broke his commitments and proceeded to defraud the businessman for the full sum.

Following this, balaji ford filed a complaint with the chennai Central Crime Branch and started legal proceedings against Ravinder. The cops opened an investigation and lodged a case. Ravinder had fabricated paperwork to obtain investments from balaji, it was discovered during the police probe. The producer has also been brought into jail. The inquiry into the alleged theft of Rs. 15.83 crore and financial irregularities is now under progress.

Now, Ravinder has gotten bail after a month's time and he returned home. Mahalakshmi who has been constantly active on social media is keeping a muted response and never even made a single post as her husband is back again. This raises everyone's eyebrows.
