Sanjana Sanghi: sanjana sanghi called 'Rockstar' a life-changing film, imtiaz ali gave this advice
Sanjana Sanghi has earned a good name in Bollywood. These days she is in a discussion about the film 'Dhak Dhak'. In this, Sanjana has shared the screen with Dia Mirza, Fatima sana Shaikh, and ratna pathak Shah. Sanjana got her first break as a child artist. The interesting thing is that till that time Sanjana herself did not know whether she wanted to act or not. Sanjana was recently seen talking about Imtiaz Ali's film 'Rockstar'. She said that this film had changed her fate.
Recently, during a conversation, Sanjana was asked about the role which changed her life. On this Sanjana said, I can't answer this. In India, being a star and being an actor are linked to each other. 'Rockstar' made me realize that I can act. At the same time, 'Dil Bechara' made me famous in every household overnight. I felt like I was on a journey with the audience.
When Sanjana was asked about choosing between 'Rockstar' and 'Dil Bechara', she took the name 'Rockstar'. Sanjana believes that after her role in 'Rockstar,' she was able to be a part of other films. Let us tell you that Sanjana played the role of Mandy, the sister of Heer (Nargis Fakhri) in Imtiaz Ali's 2011 film 'Rockstar'. She was 13 years old then.
Sharing her experience, Sanjana said, 'When you are 13 years old, you do not know much about anything. I think it helped me because, on the sets of the film, I never thought that this was imtiaz ali and this was Ranbir Kapoor. I felt as if I was at home. I was not afraid of the camera. Often people hesitate in front of the camera, but nothing like this happened to me.
After 'Rockstar', Sanjana has worked in supporting roles in only a few films. Sanjana took this decision to complete her studies before making a career. Sanjana said that during 'Rockstar', imtiaz ali had told her mother that she would leave acting for her studies, but not let this happen. Sanjana says, 'My mother did not let me leave my career because of studies. Whenever she had to give an audition during school and college, she never stopped.
