The actor mahesh babu has talked candidly about his career's losses and how a poor film gives him a "sinking feeling." In an interview with hello Magazine, Mahesh also discussed how his father Krishna had explained to him the weight that an actor of his calibre must bear when he experiences a setback in his career.

During the interview, Mahesh expressed, "You get a sinking feeling when a film doesn't do well." When creating a film, a lot of people work really hard and have high expectations. However, since I'm the public face of everything, I accept complete responsibility. I think the project would never have happened if I hadn't given the go-ahead. That way, it works better and frees me up to concentrate on my upcoming movie."

Mahesh thought back to his father's words of wisdom: "You have to learn to live with the pressure of being a big star." My father imparted these and other lessons to me. He instilled in me the value of self-control and modesty. He gave us a solid foundation of values and taught us that success has its ups and downs. There will always come a time when you will fall from the heights, and then you will have to pick yourself up and surf the waves. It all depends on how you approach the problem.
