The filmmakers are allegedly in discussions with Nayanthara to step into the role opposite kamal haasan in this Maniratnam’s directorial.
In a noteworthy move, the 'KH 234' team is rumored to have proposed a staggering Rs 12 crore remuneration to Nayanthara, marking her potential pairing with kamal haasan for the first time. Previously, trisha was considered for the lead role, and the reports indicated she was offered the same compensation. Evidently, whether it's trisha or Nayanthara, the filmmakers seem to have standardized the female lead's salary at Rs 12 crore for 'KH 234,' solidifying the actress who ultimately takes the role as the highest-paid South actress.
In other developments, kamal haasan has concluded shooting a promotional segment for the film's title teaser. The teaser is scheduled for release on november 7, coinciding with the lead actor's birthday. Given the film's reportedly daring action sequences, kamal haasan is set to use a body double. Joining the cast alongside kamal haasan are jayam ravi and Dulquer Salman, with the esteemed AR rahman confirmed as the composer in this highly anticipated mani ratnam creation.
