Nearly four years after the release of Viswaroopam II, kamal haasan directed Vikram, which went on to become such a massive hit that all of the Ulaganayagan's subsequent films have been megahits. The next films starring prabhas include Kalki, KH233, indian 2, and of course Thug Life.
Today saw the debut of the teaser for Kamal Haasan's Thug Life, which is being directed by Mani Ratnam. The film has received more interest than any other kamal haasan film in recent memory. After over thirty-five years apart, kamal haasan and Mani Rathnam are collaborating. Furthermore, kamal haasan, who portrayed Shakthivel Nayakar, also known as Velu, in the film Nayagan, is returning to the role of Rangaraya Shakthivel Nayakar in Thug Life.

Just by looking at the name, a lot of speculations about Thug Life are surfacing, yet it's unclear how much of them are real. Some say it's a spin-off of Nayagan, while others think it's a drama about a historical mobster. Additionally, Thug Life lives up to the high standards that are generally associated with a kamal haasan and Mani Rathnam pairing. Because of the 'Yakuza' allusion and the alluring action ad, both fans and the general public were captivated by the teaser.

The sequel teaser for Kamal Haasan's other amazing film was released a few days ago. But the supporters made fun of that. After the release of the trailer for indian 2, Kamal Haasan's followers criticised it for being too traditional in its filming. In addition, Anirudh's BGM seems subpar in comparison to his previous three flicks. Thug Life stars Dulquer Salmaan, jayam Ravi, and Trisha, whereas indian 2 stars Siddharth, rakul Preet, and Kajal.

Social media users began comparing Rangaraya Shaktivel Nayakar to indian 2's Senapathy, with the majority of them believing that Sathivel Nayakar had more of an impact and generated more buzz than Senapathy. They are only teasers for now, so it remains to be seen how the two films will capture the interest of viewers.
