Actor nani expressed his unhappiness over the film "Jai Bhim" not winning any National Awards in a recent tweet, which he addressed at the telangana Roundtable 2023. nani clarified that someone had misinterpreted his message. He made it clear that he was incredibly happy of the accolades telugu cinema gained at the National Awards, citing the success of films like "RRR" and "Pushpa" as well as the first-ever National Award for fellow actor Allu Arjun.

It was not the intention of Nani's previous tweet to be critical of the National Award recipients. He had sincere appreciation for "Jai Bhim," calling it one of the greatest films he had ever seen and feeling that it should have won a National Award in at least one category.

"The movie should win an award in at least one category, and I was curious whether the committee had seen the movie as well. That's all in all. nani said, "It's like I'm relieved for my sister but disappointed that my cousin lost.
