Dil Raju today claimed that he finds a striking similarity in the climbing box office statistics of 'Mangalavaaram' to those of 'Balagam,' 'Baby,' and 'Samajavaragamana'. On november 17, the picture was released in cinemas.

"Although 'Mangalavaaram' began on a modest scale, its strength is growing with each screening," said Raju, the film's Nizam distributor.
