Kollywood’s Lady superstar Nayanthara’s role in Annapoorani, which releases on december 1, marks her 75th project in the film industry. Directed by Nilesh Krishnaa, the film marks her reunion with Jai, rekindling their collaboration since Atlee’s 2013 film raja Rani. Noteworthy additions to the cast include Redin Kingsley, Sathyaraj, karthik kumar and other actors.
In a recent interview, director Nilesh Krishnaa shared insights into Annapoorani, revealing that the film narrates the journey of a Brahmin girl aspiring to establish herself as a successful chef. He underscored that the movie is created with utmost respect for the sentiments of all communities.
The film is produced by Zee Studios in collaboration with Trident Arts and Naad Studios. sathyan Sooryan, acclaimed for his work in films like Kaithi and Master, serves as the cinematographer, while thaman s is the music composer. Editing of the film has been handled by praveen Antony. Nayanthara is best known for Jawan, Aramm, Irumugan and Naanum Rowdy Thaan.
