Bangalore Days, anjali Menon's 2014 romantic comedy-drama, holds a place in every cinephile's heart. The plot concentrates around three cousins who migrate to Bangalore and their adventure over time.

The film was favourably acclaimed at its initial release, with praise for its storyline and photography, particularly in the climactic finale, which featured a dirt bike race. The filmmaker confirmed in a recent interview with IMDb that the race in the climactic sequence was an actual supercross event that was taking place in Pune. She went on to say that they had to use this strategy since they didn't have enough money to create a set for the sequence.

Anjali Menon mentioned in the interview that they travelled to pune to secure the necessary clearance to shoot the race. She also said that they had spoken with aravind KP, the National champion at the time, about filming him as Dulquer Salmaan's role for the exact scenario.

Anjali went on to say that aravind had two races scheduled for that day and had lost the first one. The director also said that her DoP, sameer Thahir, became engrossed in the filming and was ordered to leave the premises after walking onto the tracks, and that the remaining members of the camera team were forced to take over from there. She said that the racer had won his second race and showed them footage of him both winning and losing. She explained that the two clips were blended together to provide the theatrical flare required for the sequence.
