The lengthy wait for a peek of Prabhas' Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire's universe is now over. The trailer for kgf filmmaker Prashanth Neel's directorial has been published and is shattering YouTube records. The teaser has received conflicting reactions from fans who believe it is a remake of Prashanth Neel's debut film 'Ugramm,' starring his brother-in-law Sri Murali. The film was a big success upon its initial release, and suspicions have circulated that Salaar is a remake.

Since the teaser for 'Salaar' was released, people have started noticing parallels and developing ideas to connect the two films. While Ugramm depicted the friendship of agastya and Balla, Salaar depicts the friendship of prabhas and Pruthibiraj.

Ugramm was a great blockbuster upon its initial debut, running for 150 days in several karnataka cinemas. It was recreated in Odia with Anubhav Mohanty as agastya and in Marathi with sharad kelkar and shanvi srivastava as Raanti.

However, when asked if 'Salaar' was a remake, prashanth neel responded, "All of my films that I make will have some shades of Ugramm." That's how I roll. Salaar, on the other hand, is a new narrative. It is not a re-enactment or adaption of Ugramm. But it will have lots of similarities.

While Salaar is not a remake of Ugramm, there are likely to be some parallels because both films are directed by prashanth neel and involve mafia themes. Salaar, on the other hand, is a considerably larger-scale picture than Ugramm, with a higher budget and a star-studded cast.
