'Animal,' another offbeat film by Sandeep reddy Vanga, earned mixed reviews across sectors. The film is doing well in hindi and worldwide due to Ranbir's star power and an interesting first half. However, despite enormous pre-release excitement, telugu box office result is below ordinary. 'Animal' has received little attention in other languages, such as Tamil.

Sandeep reddy Vanga can look at this conclusion from two perspectives:

1. He may look to the hindi version box office and convince himself that he made a successful picture.

2. He may use the experience to make his next film better. In this case, the loss happened because the picture generated a lot of talk, but owing to Animal's lacklustre second half, the post-release euphoria faded rapidly, and everyone, with the exception of a tiny group, forgot about it in other languages, despite the fact that it was marketed as a pan-India film. It was simply another friday release that came and went.

The issue is the same with lokesh Kanagaraj's 'LEO' as well. The picture generated a lot of excitement, but once it was released, 'LEO' had a lacklustre second half, which hampered its possibilities in other languages. Because to Vijay's star power, Leo fared well in Tamil.

These directors may either be pleased with the fact that their movie did well in one language and use it as an excuse, or they can see the enormous setback created by the mediocre second half, resulting in a failure to capitalise on the massive pre-release excitement. These two films will have no negative influence on the directors, but the fact is that they were unable to provide something that lived up to the anticipation.
