Junior mehmood alias Naeem Syed, famous as the most famous child artist of his time, is no more in this world.

Junior Mahmood died around 2.00 am on the intervening night of thursday and friday in his house in Khar,

Mumbai. 67 year old junior Mahmood was suffering from stomach cancer for the last few years, but he was

diagnosed with this disease just a few days ago.

Junior Mahmood's son Hasnain told ABP news that only 18 days ago his father had received information about

stomach cancer (last stage). The Dean of Tata Memorial Hospital, the country's largest cancer hospital, said that

now only two months of his life are left and in such a situation it would not be right to keep him in the hospital.

Now the actor is no more and he will be laid to rest after friday prayers this afternoon.

Treatment was going on at home

The dean of the hospital had said that chemotherapy would prove to be very painful for junior Mahmood during the

treatment of cancer which had reached a serious stage in the last stages and it would be better if he spends his last

moments at home among his near and dear ones. Let us tell you that 700 people who knew and loved Junior

Mahmood had come to meet him in an ill condition, including celebrities like johnny Lever, sachin pilgaonkar and

Jeetendra.
