The film "Animal," directed by sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, has achieved significant success at the box office, surpassing Rs. 700 crores and heading towards the Rs. 1000 crores milestone. One of the notable highlights of the movie is the intense interval fight scene, where Ranbir Kapoor's character defends himself against attackers.

In this scene, thugs wearing steel masks enter the hotel where Ranbir Kapoor's character is staying, armed with an axe. Ranbir's character, in a reversal of fortunes, breaks a mirror showcase on the wall and uses a shard as a weapon to defend himself. The background song during this sequence, particularly the Arjan Wiley track, has added to the impact of the fight scene, eliciting strong reactions from audiences.

However, ten days after the movie's release, some netizens have pointed out that the fight scene is not entirely original and seems to be inspired by a similar sequence in a malayalam movie titled "Nayakan," released in 2010. "Nayakan" features indrajith Sukumaran as the protagonist seeking revenge for the death of his family members at the hands of a don after witnessing a political assassination. The climax of "Nayakan" includes an action block that bears similarities to the impactful fight scene in "Animal."

It's worth noting that "Nayakan" itself might have drawn inspiration from Hollywood, emphasizing that such instances of scenes resembling each other are not uncommon in the film industry. The revelation has sparked discussions online, comparing the two scenes and highlighting the impact created by sandeep Reddy Vanga's direction in "Animal," regardless of its origin or inspiration.
