'Koosa Munisamy Veerappan', a documentary series based on the videos of Veerappan's sandalwood kidnapping filmed by Nakiran, has been released on the OTT platform. It is produced by Nakiran Gopal's daughter Prabhavathy. Jayachandra Hashmi, Prabhavathy and Vasanth Balakrishnan have jointly produced this series. The first season of the six-episode series is currently out on the OTT platform. It features exclusive videos of veerappan shot by Nakeeran and interviews with Nakeeran Gopal, Seeman, N. The series follows Veerappan's youth, his first killings, ivory and sandalwood smuggling, killing officers and civilians who betrayed him, and then the conditions for his surrender in 1996. Importantly, the series also recorded the pains of the hill people who were affected by the attacks carried out by the Task Force in the name of veerappan Manhunt.

Written by Jayachandra Shashmi, Sharad Jyoti, Vasant Balakrishnan. Vasanth Balakrishnan handled the field research, Sharad Jyoti directed the fictional scenes and Jayachandra Hashmi handled the format and storytelling of the episodes.

The highlight of the series is veerappan himself appearing on screen, confessing to the murders he committed and explaining the reasons behind them. It is also expected that Veerappan's talk about late Chief Ministers Karunanidhi, Jayalalithaa, Ramadoss, Rajinikanth etc. will cause a lot of excitement.
