The much-anticipated movie 'Salaar,' a collaborative effort between director prashant Neel and actor prabhas, is set to hit the screens on december 22. As the release date approaches, expectations surrounding the film are reaching new heights. However, rumors circulating on social media claim that Salaar is a remake of the kannada movie 'Ugram.' Additionally, speculations have emerged suggesting that the movie was shot on the sets of the blockbuster film 'KGF.'
Addressing these rumours, Salaar's cinematographer bhuvan Gowda provided clarity. He stated that the scale of Salaar is five times larger than 'KGF' in terms of canvas. The film's grandeur is evident in the creation of the biggest set ever built for Salaar, spanning 100 acres in the Dandu Mylaram area. The shooting also took place at Ramoji Film City. bhuvan Gowda emphasized that the comparison to 'KGF' may have arisen due to the audience perceiving similar dark sets in the trailers, but he asserted that judging Salaar solely based on visuals would be a mistake.
Commenting on the movie's narrative, bhuvan shared that the story of Salaar surpasses prashant Neel's previous works, presenting a larger-than-life sequence that posed a significant challenge for the director. The cinematographer's remarks aimed to dispel rumours that Salaar's storyline would mirror prashant Neel's previous films.
Meanwhile, Salaar's first single, "Sureday," released recently, portraying the friendship between prabhas and prithvi Raj Sukumaran. The song, which received a positive response, depicts the childhood bond between characters Dev and Varadaraj. The emotional tune by music director ravi Basrur adds depth to the heart-warming scenes. The film is expected to offer both high-voltage action and touching emotional moments.
