Jacqueline Fernandez: Jacqueline upset by the letter of thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar, approached patiala House Court
Jacqueline Fernandez continues to be a part of the headlines for both her professional and personal life. The actress has had to face many problems after her name was linked with swindler Sukesh Chandrashekhar. In this regard, actress jacqueline fernandez on wednesday moved Delhi's patiala House court and sought directions to the Economic Offenses Wing of delhi Police and the Superintendent of Mandoli Jail, where thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar is in judicial custody. The actress has taken this step regarding the letter written by Sukesh.
Jacqueline Fernandez sought directions from the Economic Offenses Wing of delhi Police and the Superintendent of Mandoli Jail to immediately stop them from issuing any letters, or messages. Also, addressing the actress directly or indirectly should be stopped. Jacqueline, in her petition, alleged that Chandrashekhar is continuously engaged in unsolicited dissemination of harassing letters on several electronic and print media platforms.
The actress said, these letters, which were once published by media outlets, create a worrying and disturbing environment for her. Their widespread publication gives rise to intimidation and harassment, which has a profound impact on the safety and well-being of the applicant. Actress Jacqueline is a protected witness in the FIR being investigated by the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of delhi Police in a Rs 200 crore money-laundering and extortion case allegedly linked to conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
The EOW in its reply supported Jacqueline Fernandez's application and said, 'It is observed that accused Sukesh Chandrashekhar is also in the habit of sending letters on media platforms through various mediums about the present applicant, which is not only disturbing but Rather, it is directly threatening the present applicant and also affecting his social and professional work.
Thus, such a serious nature of threat or harassment to the victim or the applicant is a matter of grave concern to the investigating agency that an important witness in the case is being forced harassed, or threatened by the accused, as it would have serious implications. Jacqueline, in her petition, said that she had no prior conversation with the accused Sukesh Chandrashekhar, and that her conversation with him had started during the period when the accused in the present case committed the crime. Taking note of the arguments, the trial court judge listed the case for further hearing on january 17, 2023.
