Meera Chopra reacted to Barkha's 'transgender' statement, rejecting the actress's words

Chopra sisters dominate Bollywood. Elder sister priyanka Chopra, after making a mark with her acting in Bollywood, has now established herself in hollywood as well. Younger sister Parineeti has also earned a good name in hindi cinema. At the same time, meera Chopra is also continuously making headlines with the news of her marriage. Now the actress has reacted to Barkha Bisht's statement on transgender. Let us know what the actress has said.

Barkha Bisht is in the news for her upcoming film 'Safed'. The film 'Safed' focuses on a touching love story between a transgender man and a widow. Barkha said in an interview about the film, 'This is a topic which is going to be a point of discussion. I think the whole purpose of the film was to start a discussion about this because we are talking about certain communities that are not talked about, and that are avoided. To be honest, it's not like we're going to make a huge difference here, but we're hoping that on some level, there can be some amount of acceptance through this film. I think that's our goal.

Barkha had said in her statement, 'You have to keep many things in mind to play a role. You don't know that you are beautiful enough to be transgender. Many transgenders have trolled and commented. These are the people who had undergone sex change operations. These are people who have beautified themselves to become women, who have had the privilege and financial support to do so, and perhaps also have families who have supported them.'

Now meera Chopra has reacted to this statement of Barkha. The actress said, 'I completely disagree with Barkha's statement that you have to be beautiful enough to be transgender. I respect everyone's views and am expressing my views after thinking very carefully.

Mira Chopra further said, 'If someone believes that they are too attractive for a particular role, then perhaps they should not accept it. I stand firmly in support of the LGBTQ community by emphasizing the importance of fair representation and rejecting any form of discrimination based on physical characteristics.'
