King Nagarjuna's upcoming film, "Na Samiranga," is set to release during the sankranti season. The senior actor was determined to have his film in the sankranti lineup, and with the shooting completed, "Na Samiranga" is expected to make a splash in theaters. In an interesting development, nagarjuna himself has acquired the theatrical rights of the film through a non-refundable deal for approximately Rs. 15 crores. This means that nagarjuna will bear the responsibility for the profit or loss of the theatrical run.
Nagarjuna, confident in the film's potential, has reportedly taken a remuneration of Rs. 10 crores for "Na Samiranga," with the remaining balance expected to be paid to the producer before the film's release. Furthermore, nagarjuna has approached producer dil raju to handle the film's release in Andhra and telangana areas, making "Na Samiranga" part of dil raju Distribution in the telugu states.
The movie, produced by chitturi srinivas under the banner of Sri Srinivasa silver Screens, has a budget of around Rs. 45 crores. The non-theatrical rights have already generated significant returns for the producer, making a profit even before the film's release. "Na Samiranga" is a commercial mass entertainer set in a rural village backdrop, featuring Ashika Ranganath, Mirna, and Ruksar Dhillon as heroines. The music for the film is composed by oscar award winner MM Keeravani.
