Mani Sharma expressed disappointment in a recent interview over not obtaining possibilities from contemporary star idols. When questioned if he was wounded, mani sharma stated flatly that the only cause for any possible hurt is a lack of possibilities from heroes such as Mahesh and Pawan Kalyan.

Mani Sharma emphasised that these celebrity composers may give possibilities to a wide spectrum of musicians. Giving opportunities to many composers, in his opinion, would provide diversity to the audience by enabling each artist to offer their own distinct approach.

Mani Sharma expressed his belief that a more open approach will assist the industry rather than monopolise prospects for himself. He imagined a future in which several composers, including devi sri prasad and Thaman, would each get their fair share of possibilities, resulting in a variegated musical environment.

"If they give Thaman two films and Devi two films, they can give me one film." But I can't go ask them the same thing," mani sharma joked.
