Director S. rajamouli, renowned for the pan-India success of 'RRR,' is gearing up for his next project with superstar Mahesh Babu. The script, crafted by Rajamouli's father and acclaimed writer Vijayendra Prasad, has reached its final stages. Despite maintaining a consistent team for his films, the change in cinematographer for the mahesh babu project has become a prominent discussion point.
KK Senthil Kumar, who has served as the cinematographer for most of Rajamouli's movies, was initially expected to continue the collaboration. However, recent reports suggest that Senthil Kumar is set to make his directorial debut and had demanded a substantial remuneration for Mahesh Babu's film. Unwilling to meet this demand, rajamouli decided to bring in a new cinematographer.
In place of Senthil Kumar, the talented cinematographer PS Vinod has taken on the role for Mahesh Babu's film. The pre-production work has commenced, with Senthil Kumar currently focused on his directorial endeavours.
This movie is produced by senior producer KL Narayana in collaboration with hollywood Studios under Sridurga Arts, the film is set to be a pan-world project with a budget ranging from 1000 to 1200 crores. rajamouli is reportedly searching for locations for this adventure drama, set against the backdrop of African forests, which is scheduled to commence filming in April. There are also rumors of an Indonesian actress being selected to star opposite Mahesh in the movie.
