Recently, South indian films have become the face of indian cinema. The massive popularity of films like as Baahubali, RRR, KGF, and Kantara demonstrates this. South indian films have now also begun to dominate the OTT sector. Prabhas' Salaar and Nani's Hi Nanna grabbed four spots on Netflix India's top ten list, demonstrating the dominance of South cinema.

Nani's Hi Nanna aired on Netflix on january 4. Since its OTT release, the film has been trending on Netflix. It entered the top ten in Netflix India's charts for the third week in a row. While the hindi version Hi Papa ranked third, the telugu version Hi Nanna stayed sixth.

Salaar launched on Netflix on january 20. Since its premiere, the film has received a lot of attention on the streaming site. As a consequence, Salaar's telugu version topped the top ten trending list, while the tamil version ranked fifth. Netflix is having a terrific time in the indian OTT arena, with several intriguing releases. Their most recent release, Salaar, has already been well received on social media, and they have now added a new video to their catalogue, Animal. Before Animal's OTT release, it appeared that the picture would sparked many disputes among awakened people and average moviegoers. The sandeep Reddy-directed film's OTT launch was much anticipated. However, Animal has had a pretty conservative start to OTT. It's not creating the expected noise.
