Renowned film critic Taran adarsh has taken to twitter to share the disappointing box office performance of Hrithik Roshan's "Fighter." According to Adarsh, the film has struggled to make an impact at the domestic box office, with collections on the seventh day since its release, january 25, continuing to decline.
On Wednesday, "Fighter" reportedly collected around Rs. 6.35 crore nett in India, which is Rs. 1.15 crore less than its tuesday collection of Rs. 7.5 crore. adarsh expressed his disappointment, especially considering the film's strong performance in overseas markets. He emphasized that the film, which features the best stars and director working together and received critical acclaim and positive audience feedback, has seen a shocking decline in box office numbers in India.
Adarsh pointed out the contrast between the declining indian collections and the film's strong performance in key international markets like the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, even on weekdays. He raised the question of how to analyze this contradiction and lamented the setbacks at the beginning of the year, expressing concern about the industry's performance.
The tweet also highlighted the hard work and sacrifices made by hrithik roshan for the film, including undergoing multiple physical transformations. Despite the efforts of Hrithik and the cast, "Fighter" has not lived up to expectations and has been deemed a major disappointment at the box office.
