Producer suresh Kamatshi has given an explanation about the fact that director bala beat up actor surya on the set of Vanagaan and said that he walked out of the film.

Bala is one of the directors who brought about the biggest turning point in actor Suriya's career. Suriya's image changed only after he acted in the films Nanda and Pitaamagan directed by him. Among those who criticized him for not acting at all, the credit goes to director bala for bringing out the acting talent within Suriya. Due to this, surya has immense respect for him.

Suriya and bala have not worked together in a single film since Pitaamagan. To put an end to that wait, the duo announced that they are going to work together in the film Vananaan. The film was produced by Suriya's 2D company and starred Keerthy Shetty opposite Suriya. The shooting of the film took place in Kanyakumari for about a month starting in 2022.

It was said that there was a conflict between Suriya and Bala, and then actor surya returned to chennai after suddenly stopping the shooting due to Bala's beating. The shooting, which was halted then, never resumed. Finally it was reported that Suriya has walked out of the film. After this, director bala is making Vanangaan with Arun Vijay. The film is jointly produced by suresh Kamatshi and Bala.

In this case, suresh Kamatshi has spoken in a recent interview about the background behind Suriya's withdrawal from the film Vanangaan. In it, he was asked whether it was true that bala beat Surya. He categorically denied this and said that there is no possibility of hitting, there is a possibility of running away. Because I saw that arun vijay was also run away by bala sir.

Apart from that, bala has immense respect for surya and surya for Bala. Suriya's current height in cinema is different and Vananan's story is not suitable for it.
