Vedaant madhavan, son of renowned actor R madhavan, has been charming the internet with his humility and talent as a swimming champion. However, in a recent interview, madhavan shared that he and his wife Sarita Birje don’t like the comparison between Vedaant and other star kids. The actor also condemned the memes and posts around the same that do the rounds of social media. Speaking with Ranveer Allahbadia, R.Madhavan expressed that he doesn’t endorse memes or posts that put Vedaant on a pedestal compared to other star kids. He stated, “Sarita and I are not very pleased about it. We regret it because comparing a child to another child… see, memes are meant to be consumed, people do whatever it takes to make the memes consumable and at times, they don’t realise how much they hurt other people.”

He added, “So, when Vedaant gets compared to other kids in the industry, it is not something Sarita and I are like, nor do we endorse it, nor do we forward it, nor do we acknowledge it. Yes, I am not going to take away from what Vedaant has achieved. He has done what it takes to get the medals that he has and the national record that he has done. And being a celebrity’s child is not easy. He is going to get a lot more attention than most of his friends who have achieved a greater level of success being the same age as Vedaant. He isn’t the best in the country, he is definitely an actor’s child, who has managed to create a national record in that age group. So, not taking away from that… I am very aware of those memes and it doesn’t make me pleased whatsoever at all.”

As the son of R madhavan, Vedaant has carved his own path of success and continues to make headlines with his exceptional achievements. Over the years, he has set world records and earned numerous awards. Recently, at the Malaysian Invitational Age Group Championships 2023, Vedaant’s outstanding performance earned him five gold medals in the 50, 100, 200, 400, and 1,500-meter events. In February, Vedaant madhavan represented Team maharashtra at the prestigious Khelo india 2023 tournament. During the event, he secured five gold medals and two silver medals.
