R madhavan, the renowned actor, recently shared a fascinating insight into his life, revealing that his most cherished possession isn't a lavish car or a sprawling mansion, but rather a yacht. In a candid conversation, madhavan opened up about his journey towards fulfilling a lifelong dream of owning a yacht and obtaining a captain’s license. He expressed profound gratitude for this acquisition and its significance, especially during the pandemic.
R madhavan recounted his remarkable journey of obtaining a captain’s license and acquiring his beloved yacht. Reflecting on this accomplishment, he shared, “The most expensive purchase that I bought is the house that I have. It’s quite expensive. Does a family of three require that big a house? Not at all. But apart from that house, the most expensive thing I got was a yacht."
The actor described the process of obtaining his captain’s license as a fulfilling endeavor during the Covid-induced lockdown. He said, “I bought it because I always wanted to take a captain’s license, and during Covid, I had nothing to do so I took my exam and it took me six months. So, now I am a licensed captain who can sail a 40-foot yacht or a boat and just to scratch that off my bucket list, I bought the yacht and I enjoy it thoroughly.”
He also talked about the profound impact of his yacht on his life. "It is a place for me to write. I take it out to the sea and I park overnight, I look at the dolphins fly around as I write my stories, it is the best purchase of my life. It is parked in Dubai. It has brought me a lot closer to nirvana," he shared.
