The reason why fans are thrilled right now is that South indian idols mahesh babu and SS rajamouli were lucky enough to flee dubai after a wave of flash floods and pouring rain.

At dubai International airport (DXB), there were significant problems due to the severe waterlogging and cancellation of all major flights; some even suggested that VIP travellers would have to wait over 48 hours. Because of the dire circumstances, several travellers were even compelled to spend the night sleeping on the airport floor. SS rajamouli, who had been in dubai for pre-production talks on his much awaited project #SSMB29, and mahesh babu, who was coming from Italy, were fortunate to leave before the weather became worse.

Mahesh Babu and eccentric filmmaker SS rajamouli will work together on #SSMB29, dubbed the most costly movie ever made in indian history, for the first time. After learning about the floods in dubai, fans were naturally alarmed, especially in light of the possible effects on the film's production timetable. But fears have subsided as they returned on schedule.

Although the whole amount of damage inflicted by the floods is still being determined, it seems that SS rajamouli and mahesh babu were both fortunate to escape the brunt of the catastrophe and are back in india safely.
