As a gesture of respect, sonu nigam washed renowned vocalist Asha Bhosle's feet during a book launch. The star-studded launch of Asha's biography, "Swarswamini Asha," took place on Friday, june 28. Mohan Bhagwat, the leader of the RSS, and actor jackie shroff were also there.
Sonu sat close to Asha's feet, kissed, and cleaned them in a video that ANI posted on X. After drying Asha's feet, Sonu bowed to her and exited the stage.

Asha was dressed in a patterned white saree, while Sonu was dressed in a yellow kurta and white pyjamas. Asha and her late sister lata mangeshkar were lauded by Sonu in her address for their contributions to indian music.
Mohan Bhagwat talked on the commitment of the Mangeshkar family to music and nationalism. The biography has rare photos that highlight Asha's journey and is an anthology of writings by ninety authors.
jackie shroff touched Asha's feet and gave her a flower pot as a sign of respect. Asha also shared memories of her time spent working with VD Savarkar. Hridaynath Mangeshkar, her brother, was also present at the event. watch out this space for more updates.
