On this Khesari Lal said, 'That was my childhood, I was not mature and many such things were going on with me due to which I was very upset. I was not getting anyone's support. Meanwhile, I was pelted with stones due to which I was very scared. There were some political things and I was completely killed.'

Khesari further said, 'The glass of the car in which I was sitting was also broken. I was completely trampled under that car. A part of my shirt was also torn. I don't know who carried out this attack because I did not have any proof.'

When Khesari was asked, do you have any idea who from the Bhojpuri industry attacked you? In response to this, Khesari said, 'An artist can never get another artist attacked. There must be people who might have done it, but after the attack, the whole of Bihar was shut down for the man selling litti-chokha. That day, I understood what I am for the people of Bihar.'
