Mumbai police Step Up Security As X Post Asks 'What If Bomb Went Off At Ambani's Wedding'

The mumbai police are taking 'extra precautionsafter noticing a suspicious post on X discussing Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding,

Security at the lavish jio World Centre, the site of industrialist Mukesh Ambani's son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding, was stepped up after a suspicious social media post suggested a bomb threat. The high-profile event was protected by the mumbai police by taking "extra precautionsdespite the initially perfect security preparations.

An account named @FFSFIR posted a message, which seemed to depict a potentially problematic situation at the extravagant event of Ambanis.

The X post reads: "A shameless thought crept into my mind that if a bomb went off at Ambani's wedding, half the world would turn upside down. Trillions of dollars in one pin code."

According to a senior police officer, the authorities did not take any risks even if the post was considered a fake.

The Bandra-Kurla Complex wedding site was heavily guarded by the police on Saturday, July 13, after a concerned internet user raised the alarm. The police unit that monitors social media postings will investigate it. “The message has been taken as a hoax but the police team, which looks at social media posts, will look into it,” a police offer said as quoted by Hindustan Times.

Even though no police report has been filed, the inquiry into the identity of the person and the reason for the post is still underway.
