Ranbir Kapoor Shares Challenges Of Married Life, Says alia bhatt Is 'Letting Go Of Her Personality'

In a recent podcast, actor ranbir kapoor discussed his marriage and the difficulties of maintaining a good marriage.

Bollywood star ranbir kapoor recently discussed the effort and compromises he and his wife alia bhatt put in to keep the peace in their marriage. The couple got married in a small ceremony held in the couple's Mumbai apartment on april 14, 2022, with close family and friends in attendance. The pair is famous for their on-screen and off-screen connection. 

podcast, ranbir kapoor talked about the challenges of marriage. "Especially when you’re in a marriage, you have to let go of your personality. She’s also letting go of her personality. We’re adjusting to each other to make it liveable for each other. Any marriage is doing that. You have to let go, you have to adjust, you have to sacrifice facets of it. It’s impossible for two people to like each other the way they are," Ranbir described the sacrifices that make their relationship unique.

Adding further, Ranbir said, “She (Alia) used to speak in a very loud tone. I think my father's tone, growing up, always rattled me. So she made efforts to change that. And that's not easy when you've lived 30 years of your life speaking in a certain way. She's someone who instinctively reacts like if Raha falls, there's a reaction that throws me off. She makes certain efforts to put me at ease. I hope I could say there's something I did to put her at ease, but I don't think I've done it yet.”
