The greatest setback in Akhil's career was Agent. After Agent turned into a massive failure, neither the director Surender reddy nor the hero Akhil were seen again for a very long time. Nevertheless, a large portion of Akhil's admirers and the general moviegoer audience desired to see the film regardless of the outcome. Unexpectedly, almost a year after its theatrical debut, Agent remained unavailable on Netflix.
 
The movie has finally been published on OTT with Goldmines streaming, but to the dismay of fans, just the hindi dubbed version has been made available, with no information on the telugu version. It was previously reported that producer Anil sunkara had reached a deal with sony Liv for over-the-top streaming, but the deal fell through for unspecified financial reasons. It begs the question of why Akhil's Agent is taking so long to appear on OTT platforms whereas the greatest hits, like RRR, and other smaller films, appear on them 50 days after their premiere.
 
For the time being, everyone who missed the catastrophe when it was released in theatres will see the hindi version. Agent, which was directed by Surender reddy, stars sakshi Vaidya, Dino Morea, and mammootty among others.
