Arjun during his latest interview on 'The Ranveer Show' said that marriage is 'ultimately just a piece of paper' and added that in his mind, he is already married to Gabriella. In Arjun's words, "It's not me, it's not her. What is marriage? Ultimately just a piece of paper. I think we are already married and I have no doubt about that, but sometimes that piece of paper can change you, because it feels like it's permanent, which is a misconception, but you are legally bound."

He further added, “It can change your perspective towards each other. I think we both feel the same. Whatever happened between us was very natural. I don't want to talk much about it because I don't want to make it unlucky. I don't think I need to prove it to anyone. For us, it's beautiful. You should keep experiencing it for as long as possible. In our minds, we are both married to each other. We are both pushing each other in the right direction and at the same time, we are also girlfriend-boyfriend.”
