Is Haseen Dillruba 3 coming soon? taapsee pannu has hinted at it by saying, ‘Kanika Dhillon and I Are!

After three years, taapsee pannu, Vikrant Massey, and Sunny Kaushal are back for Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, the sequel to Haseen Dillruba. In a recent interview with us, Sunny mentioned that he shares a strong bond with Taapsee. He humorously stated that Taapsee had invited him to her housewarming party as Vicky Kaushal’s plus-one during the shoot of Manmarziyaan. In an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, Taapsee talks about her rapport with Sunny and expresses her excitement about sharing screen space with him for the first time.

She joked about how he had ‘teased’ her on the film sets and said, “It seems like we must have done something good to deserve Sunny's return [to be a part of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba]. There are rare occasions when I am nice to him, and he should just accept it. I personally invited him to my housewarming. I never asked Vicky to bring him as his plus one (laughs)!"

In relation to Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, this marks Taapsee's fifth collaboration with kanika dhillon following Manmarziyaan, Haseen Dillruba, rashmi Rocket, and Dobaara. Speaking about this ‘sisterhood’ that began with Manmarziyaan, Taapsee commented, “We’re becoming more scandalous with each other every passing year. The scandals are increasing exponentially. This started with Manmarziyaan, where she convinced me to do something that was completely against my beliefs. I never thought I would be able to convincingly portray such a character."

According to her, Kanika’s strength lies in creating ‘complex’ women who are independent, a quality that deeply resonates with her. “I realized that kanika can make me do anything. The next thing she made me do was Haseen Dillruba, which became a franchise that is very dear to my heart. She writes relatable women so well. They are women who make mistakes but own up to them and are honest about it," she pointed out.

Taapsee further adds, “Their mistakes are not hidden under heroism. These characters will never say, ‘I am just like that.’ There's something beautiful about Kanika’s protagonists being complex and vulnerable. She has a unique writing style. We understand each other very well as a writer-actor duo."

So, is there a third part to Haseen Dillruba in the works? “I’m not much of a reader like Vikrant and Sunny, but I’ll give kanika the book Malice for a part three of Haseen Dillruba. Hopefully, Haseen Dillruba will keep returning and never leave (laughs). You’ll see many more collaborations between me and kanika in the future. We are now thinking of so many things that we can do together," states Taapsee.

Similar to its predecessor, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba delves into intense themes of love and is scheduled for release on Netflix on august 9.
