Meenakshi recently shared her perspective on why male actors have a longer career than actresses in the industry. In 1996, meenakshi seshadri quit the film industry to focus on her personal life and moved to the United States, but now at the age of 60, she is keen to return to acting.

In a recent interview with Waves Metro, meenakshi seshadri highlighted the main factors that contribute to the lasting success of male stars like amitabh bachchan, Dharmendra, Jeetendra, and Anil Kapoor. She said, 'There are many reasons why male actors stay in the industry for a long time. The same is the case with Dharmendra, Jeetendra, and amitabh Bachchan's generation, they are still at it.'

The actress elaborated on her statement and said, 'An important factor is the unequal distribution of household responsibilities. Men are not doing household duties at home. So they can devote themselves completely to their careers.' She also highlighted the biological challenges faced by female actors.


Meenakshi Seshadri further added, 'The next reason is that they do not have to worry about childbirth or pregnancy or raising children. All this becomes the responsibility of the woman.' Meenakshi said that the enduring popularity of male actors is important for their long careers. She stressed that the affection of the public is an important factor in their continued success.

Meenakshi Seshadri is planning to start her second innings in the industry. The actress had said in a recent interview, 'Meenakshi Seshadri, who is going to start her second innings, says, 'I want to start my second innings with a new thinking. After returning to India, I met Jackie Shroff.
