Who was Teji Bachchan?
Teji Bachchan was born on 12 august 1914 in Faisalabad (now in Pakistan) of british india to Sardar Khajan Singh. Teji Bachchan worked as a psychology professor at Khoob Chand degree College in Lahore. After this, she worked as an english literature teacher at allahabad University. In the year 1941, jaya bachchan married Harivansh Rai Bachchan, from whom she had two children, amitabh and Ajitabh Bachchan. Teji Bachchan was a good friend of the then prime minister Indira gandhi and worked as a social worker. Teji Bachchan died on 21 december 2007 at the age of 93.
