At the Locarno Film festival, Shah Rukh Khan talked about the amazing origins of his signature brand and revealed that we have legendary singer Saroj Khan to thank. During the Fan Q&A, the *Jawan* star talked about the time someone asked how the iconic character was created. Shah Rukh explained that the look came alive after he tried tap dancing during a song penned by Saroj Khan.

Shah Rukh recalled this incident and said, "I was not able to dance properly and I was very embarrassed. After training all night, I came back to the set ready to present to Saroj ji I can do it. But when I showed it to him, he just said, "No, we don't need it." You don't like it, just stand here and put your hands up." This simple command resulted in his famous image.

Over time, this award became Shah Rukh's favorite. "When I'm facing a difficult dance, I say to the singer, 'How should your arms be stretched?'" he said. This is my signature work and I start working on it more and more with each work. It eventually became part of my identity."

"I'm just kidding you all - there's nothing special about it, it's just a weapon," Shah Rukh joked.
