Squid Game 2: Get Ready For Seong Gi-Hun's Return

Anticipation for the second season of the hugely popular Netflix series, Squid Game, continues to rise as the excitement continues to build at an all-time high. A few days after the producers announced the release date of the series, a short teaser was released confirming the return of Seung Gi Hoon (Lee Jong Jae), the sole survivor and hero of the previous section. The 30-second teaser also previews the arrival of many contestants who will compete for the grand prize.
On Monday, august 12, Netflix will show the teaser for "Welcome Players" and reveal the player numbers. It opens to show the players with their backs to the camera and wearing the same green shirt. When the numbers reach 456, one sees Gi-hoon as a player, but with other plans in mind. "The real game begins" is the message the show is giving.
"Gamers, the time is almost here," Netflix wrote under the caption.
Fans went crazy after seeing this trailer and many were excited to see these killer games. "First for life, now for pay," wrote one fan, while another commented: "Wow!!!!. I've been waiting so long. Netflix."

Another comment: "I'm happy, I've been waiting for this moment for a long time, thanks to the Squid game team."
What can we expect from Squid 2?
The second season picks up after the events of the first season where Gi-Hun wins. Instead of taking the money and going to the US, he decided to stay in Korea and get back into the game. At the end of Season 1 he sees another invitation to dive into a mysterious survival game, which he accepts thinking it's a new decision.
Netflix recently announced the second and third seasons of The Game of Thrones. Although the second part will be released in December, the final part will be released in 2025. In a letter to all fans, director Hwang Dong-hyuk said, "Seung Gi-hoon, who promised to pay at the end of time 1, and return to cast again. Will he succeed in revenge? Front Man doesn't seem like an easy enemy this time. The epic battle between their two worlds will continue until the end of the series and the third season."
