Shatrughan Sinha: 'I will not stay with my daughter if she does not want to,' Shatrughan Sinha's blunt words on supporting Sonakshi

Sonakshi Sinha married zaheer iqbal after being in a long-term relationship. Although the actress was trolled a lot for this, she stood by her love. In a recent interview, shatrughan sinha addressed his daughter's marriage and said, 'This is a matter of marriage. Secondly, if children are married, it is not illegal and unconstitutional. They did it with their own will and our blessings. So I appreciate it.'

The veteran actor further elaborated his stance by expressing pride and happiness over his daughter's choice, 'Who will stand with my daughter if I am not there?' Shatrughan also mentioned that he and his wife Poonam Sinha were fully involved in celebrating the union, and displayed their full support of the marriage.

Shatrughan Sinha clarified that his primary focus is on the satisfaction of his children. The actor added, 'It is all about their happiness.' Shatrughan said that sonakshi sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are made for each other. He expressed confidence that the ultimate goal of every parent is to see their children happy and fulfilled in their personal lives.

He said, 'Parents will always stand for the happiness of their children and I think our children are happy. They are made for each other and we are very happy for them.' Sonakshi and Zaheer got married in a civil ceremony on june 23. This was followed by a glamorous party at shilpa Shetty's restaurant Bastian, where the couple celebrated with close friends and family.
