Ankita Lokhande lost her father Shashikant Lokhande last year. The actress' father passed away at the age of 68 and was reportedly ill for a few months before his death. Now a year later, the actress remembered her late father on his death anniversary. Along with this, Ankita also wrote a note for her father by sharing an old picture of herself with her father. Let's know what message Ankita has given to her father.

Now recently, on her official instagram handle, Ankita has shared many old pictures of her father with the fans. Some of these pictures are from her childhood, while some are from her wedding. In one picture, Ankita is sitting on her father's lap. In other pictures, Ankita is seen posing with her parents. Her husband Vicky Jain is also seen in one picture.

Remembering her father, Ankita wrote, "Today is a difficult anniversary, the day my dear Papa left us. It's been a year, but our memories and love are still strong. I miss him so much, but I'm grateful for the time we spent together. Your legacy lives on in my heart and don't worry, I've taken care of Mumma and Arpan. I'll always be there to take care of them, and support them. They're with me, I promise Papa... I love you even more."

On the work front, Ankita Lokhande was last seen in the film 'Swatantryaveer Savarkar', which was based on the life of indian freedom fighter and reformer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. The actress is currently seen in the comedy reality show Laughter Chefs with her husband Vicky Jain.
