John said that after doing an MBA, he joined a company for which he got his first salary of Rs 6500. After that, he was promoted as a media planner in an advertising agency. john further said that he participated in the Gladrags Manhunt competition in 1999, where he was judged by Shahrukh Khan, Gauri Khan, karan johar, and karan Kapoor.

Lunch used to cost this much

John, whose salary was Rs 11,500 at that time, won the competition and got Rs 40,000. john was very happy after winning such a big amount. He used to run his expenses with very little money. john said- My expenses were very low. I used to eat chapati and dal fry at lunch. My food cost was only 6 rupees 25 paise. I used to have breakfast at home and did not have dinner because I used to get late while working in the office. Apart from food, my expenses were on my bike and petrol.
