There was a period when bollywood released successful songs each month. In the event that a debut actor failed to create a blockbuster, the producers were still able to recoup their investment. Regretfully, the Covid-19 epidemic altered the audience's preferences.

At one point, the world seemed to stop and people were addicted to OTT platforms. In light of the current circumstances, the public has rejected performers such as ajay devgn since Maidaan and Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha did not perform well at the box office.

Remakes and shoddy writing have been mentioned by seasoned critics and industry insiders as causes for Bollywood's demise. In the meantime, acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap—known for films like Gangs of Wasseypur and Sacred Games—addressed every issue concerning the producers in the hindi film business.

A social media video of Kashyap's conversation is making waves, in which he asserts that the generation born in "trial rooms" is in charge of today's film industry. Those individuals lack experience, Kashyap remarked, thus their references are based on movies. For them, a movie cannot be anything that is not on screen. Therefore, everything that is not on screen in hindi films cannot be considered cinema to them.

In response to the box office disappointment of Thugs of Hindostan and Shamshera, Kashyap mentioned yash Raj Films and stated that the producers planned to release movies that were akin to some well-liked hollywood productions. He said that although the creators might do something unique with the same idea, they never do since it's "not cinema" in their eyes. Nobody can dispute that Kashyap is speaking the truth, even though his and the featured actors' recent movies have not been successful. These days, every movie is a remake or an adaptation from a hollywood production that has already been viewed by millions of people on YouTube.

It is a fact that bollywood is not producing enough talented authors who can tell a narrative flawlessly on film. Once upon a time, the late neeraj vora authored some wonderful plays with true comedic moments, keeping us laughing for the two to three hours that we spent seated in the auditorium. It appears that authors are attempting to expedite their work and finish the movies. However, students must realize that this is not feasible in the modern world. If they don't appreciate the movie, they are wasting their time and money on tickets, which they purchase in order to be amused.
