The film is based on the story of two half brothers rahul (Shahrukh Khan) and Rohan (Hrithik Roshan). But both the brothers are good friends. kajol plays the role of anjali in the film and kareena kapoor plays the role of Poo. kajol and Kareena play sisters in the film.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is primarily based on indian Olympian Milkha Singh's journey against the partition of india in 1947, but his relationship with his elder sister Isri Kaur (Divya Dutta) is also beautifully depicted.
