Allu arjun and ntr should have had theater premieres by now this year if not for the severe delay. However, things are currently such that they haven't arrived at the box office. Devara had a lengthy weekend advantage when it was first reported that it will be released on april 5. But because of the delayed schedule, the movie was unable to arrive on time.

Now, Bunny's pushpa 2 had to have been out by august 15th, so it took full advantage of the Independence Day holiday. Rather, we had the sluggish starters Mr. Bachchan and Double Ismart. stree 2, which was launched yesterday, made almost Rs 50 crore nett in india on its first day of release, especially in Hindi. This is a remarkable amount for a movie without a big celebrity.

Based on the figure that stree 2 posted, one can only imagine the chaos that pushpa 2 may have caused in hindi if it had been launched on august 15th. In essence, both bunny and tarak have burned the two golden dates of the year and are now approaching near the conclusion of the year quite belatedly. stree 2 continues the golden run in this Independence Day weekend.
