Abhishek Banerjee Reaction

Abhishek Banerjee is one of the best actors in Bollywood. He has created a different identity for himself by doing side roles. His acting is so powerful that everyone becomes his fan. Be it comedy or serious. abhishek adapts himself well to every role. This is why he has become the favorite actor of the makers in today's time. Apart from being a great actor, abhishek also runs a casting company. Due to this, he is in the headlines these days. If reports are to be believed, Abhishek's dharma Production had fired the actor from casting. abhishek has broken the silence on this controversy.

Abhishek had recently told siddharth Kannan in an interview that he was asked to leave karan Malhotra's Agneepath because he was not impressed with his casting choices. Abhishek has now shared a statement and said that his words have been taken the wrong way. He did not mean to say this.

Abhishek shared the statement

Abhishek has shared a note on social media. In which it is written- 'This week I have faced the release of two films and a controversy. I have been reading and hearing a lot of reports about my company Casting Bay being fired during the casting process of dharma Productions' Agneepath (2012). Unfortunately, this situation has been completely misrepresented and we have been accused. In a podcast/interview, I had given the reason for our dismissal, in which it was expressed that we were not able to align with director karan Malhotra's vision for Agneepath. I also emphasized that Anmol and I were very young at the time, around 20 to 23 years old, and had little or no experience of casting for a big commercial film, which may have led us to misunderstand Karan's needs for the project.'

Abhishek further wrote- 'I have not alleged or suggested any wrongdoing on the part of dharma Productions. I have great respect for dharma productions and karan Johar. I have never spoken to karan johar about our ouster, yet some reports have falsely claimed that he was the one who ousted us. The decision was taken by Karan's team, and I accept my mistakes. I shared this story to encourage the youth that even if you fail or face an obstacle, you can always bounce back, as we did.

We have worked on many projects with Dharma including OK Jaanu, student of the year 2, Kalank, and the recently released Kill and Gyarah Gyarah. Additionally, dharma cast me as an actor in Ajeeb Daastaans. dharma has always been great to me and my company Casting Bay. It is a relationship that we respect. PS: I am not posting this for any hamper. abhishek Banerjee.'
