Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, who is basking in the success of her film 'Stree 2', has reached a new milestone on instagram, amassing 91.4 million followers—slightly surpassing the follower count of prime minister narendra Modi, who has 91.3 million followers on the platform. Shraddha is now the third most-followed indian on instagram, after virat kohli and priyanka Chopra.

Virat kohli and actress priyanka chopra hold the top spots with 271 million and 91.8 million followers, respectively. Meanwhile, actresses alia bhatt and deepika padukone boast significant followings, with 85.1 million and 79.8 million followers, respectively. 

PM Modi's followers on X

PM Modi continues to dominate on X (formerly known as Twitter), where he remains the most-followed global leader with over 101.2 million followers. He has a considerable lead over figures such as U.S. President Joe Biden, Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed, and Pope Francis. Additionally, the official X account of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has garnered over 56 million followers. Among indian politicians, congress leader rahul gandhi and delhi Chief minister arvind kejriwal trail behind with 26.7 million and 27.6 million followers, respectively, on the platform, which is owned by billionaire Elon Musk. 

Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 box office success

Meanwhile, Shraddha’s film 'Stree 2', on its sixth day in theaters, has surpassed the ₹250 crore milestone in India, as reported by Sacnilk.com. Released alongside ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Vedaa’, the film has performed remarkably well at the box office. The sequel to the 2018 blockbuster stree raked in ₹8.5 crore on Wednesday. 

The film's box office journey began with an impressive ₹51.8 crore on its opening day, followed by ₹31.4 crore on day two, ₹43.85 crore on day three, ₹55.9 crore on day four, and ₹38.1 crore on day five. On the sixth day, early estimates suggest that the movie earned an additional ₹25 crore, bringing its total domestic earnings to ₹254.55 crore. The film recorded a 37.55% hindi occupancy rate on Tuesday. 

Stree 2 continues the story of the original film's characters as they confront a new menace—a ghost known as Sarkata, who has only a head. The film also stars Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, abhishek Kumar, and Aparshakti Khurrana. 

This movie is a part of producer Dinesh Vijan's expanding horror-comedy universe, which also includes other popular titles like Bhediya and Munjya.
