Stree 2 included in the list of top 20 hit films!!!


The epic science fiction film 'Kalki 2898 AD' directed by nag ashwin and starring amitabh bachchan, Kamal Haasan, prabhas and deepika padukone made a splash at the box office in the first half of 2024. Now in the second half of the year, 'Stree 2' directed by amar kaushik and starring Shraddha Kapoor and rajkumar rao is wreaking havoc. This film is a sequel to the 2018 horror-comedy 'Stree'. The interesting thing is that in just 7 days, 'Stree 2' has earned more than 275 crores and with this it has become one of the fastest earning films of the year.


'Stree 2' collected more than 275 crores in just one week

Let us tell you that 'Stree 2' was released in theaters on 15 August. This film had a mega clash with many South films including Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and john Abraham's Veda. But 'Stree 2' has been quite heavy on all these films. Talking about the earnings of the film, it earned Rs 8.5 crore from paid preview on august 14 and on august 15, the film took a tremendous opening with Rs 51.8 crore and after this it earned Rs 31.4 on friday and Rs 43.85 crore on Saturday. The film collected Rs 55.9 crore on Sunday. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan on Monday, it earned Rs 38.1 crore. It earned Rs 25.8 crore on tuesday and according to the initial estimate of Saknilak, the film earned around Rs 20 crore on Wednesday. With this, the total collection of stree 2 for the week is Rs 275.35 crore.


‘Stree 2’ joins the list of top 20 hit films of hindi cinema

With this, ‘Stree 2’ has not only become the highest grossing horror comedy film of all time by beating films like ‘Golmaal Again’ (Rs 205.69 lakh) and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ (Rs 184.32 lakh), but it has also managed to make it to the list of the biggest hit films of hindi cinema. With Wednesday’s collection, the film has achieved the 19th position in the list of the biggest hit films of hindi cinema, leaving behind the collections of films like ‘Dhoom 3’ (Rs 271.07 lakh) and ‘RRR’ (Hindi – Rs 272.28 lakh).
