Instagram proved costly for this actor, he lost many big projects

Guess Who: Nowadays, social media helps celebs a lot in their work. But an actor has revealed that he lost many projects because of Instagram.

Guess Who

Be it common people or celebrities, everyone uses social media. The use of social media is very beneficial for celebrities. They stay connected with their fans and keep sharing every update related to their work with their fans. However, an actor has admitted that he has lost many projects due to Instagram.

Recently an actor surprised everyone by making this big revelation. This actor is a popular face on TV. He has also appeared in salman Khan's show 'Bigg Boss'. Here we are talking about Ankit Gupta. In an interview given to 'Times of India', he talked about many issues apart from this issue.

It doesn't feel like I am doing a hindi show

Ankit said, 'I tried to learn Marathi in the beginning, all my co-stars are Maharashtrians. I can barely understand what they are saying. They also speak very fast so everything goes over my head. was thinking 'It doesn't seem like I am doing a hindi show.'

Projects lost because of Instagram

Ankit Gupta further said, 'This is something I never understood. I am still trying to understand social media. There have been cases where influencers have turned out to be good actors but not always. I have also lost some projects because of Instagram. Now, the only reason I am on instagram is that I am an actor.'

Said such a thing about Hollywood

Ankit also made a statement about Hollywood. The tv actor said, 'But if you have seen in Hollywood, their top actors are not on social media and no matter how big an actor you are, you have to give auditions, prepare for your role, and work with casting directors. Somewhere the way actors and casting directors work here is very different from Hollywood. And I think this is the main reason why we are facing this.

If given the option, I would always prefer to work with people I am comfortable with. I won't call it wrong, but yes, if a particular kind of character is required, then you can fight with someone who fits that character better than you.
