Kalki 2898 AD Hits OTT: Fans Agree With Arshad Warsi's Take On prabhas, Praises amitabh Bachchan 

As 'Kalki 2898 ADreleased on OTT, viewers shared their opinions on social media, with many supporting Arshad Warsi's comment on Prabhas' performance.

Prabhas, deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan's much-anticipated science fiction epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has finally premiered on OTT platforms. The film's stunning visuals have won over fans and they can't get enough of Amitabh Bachchan's commanding performance as Aswatthama. 


Having said that, not every comment has been complimentary. Many agreed with Arshad Warsi’s comment that prabhas looked like a ‘joker’.


On thursday (August 22), the hindi version of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, was released on Netflix. The Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and kannada versions are available on Prime Video. Now, fans took to social media to praise the film for its mind-blowing execution. Big B's performance, despite his age, is being hailed as one of the film's highlights.


Meanwhile, viewers have had mixed responses to Prabhas’ character Bhairava, with some finding the character annoying and misplaced in the story. 

A user said, “I just watched kalki, and what #ArshadWarsi said, I stand by it,”


Some of Arshad Warsi's admirers have responded to his sentiments, stating that the actor was criticizing the role and not prabhas himself. A fan commented, "#ArshadWarsi didn’t say anything wrong here. He didn’t like the character prabhas was playing and one should be critical about that. prabhas was a joker in #Kalki."

Someone also said, “Arshad Warsi said nothing wrong. He said Prabhas was presented as a joker, but I will say prabhas himself is a joker. He was unbearable in the first half of #Kalki2898AD, and that’s a fact. arshad warsi Forever!"
